Dubai

Dubai comprises two towns which have merged into one; Bur Dubai and Deira, which are divided by the 10km long Dubai Creek. Bur Dubai is a bustling commercial area containing hotels, shopping and golf courses and Deira is the old city centre – although both areas are home to the traditional architecture and souqs.

Approximately 20 minutes from the city of Dubai is Jumeirah Beach. This is a major tourist area, which has a large number of fantastic award winning hotels, and a beautiful sandy beach. The man made port of Jebel Ali is about 30km away.
